Shipping & Delivery Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding public holidays). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking details via email from contact@globalfoodhub.com. Please check your spam, promotions, or updates folder if you do not receive this confirmation.

Shipping Partners & Delivery

We partner with leading European logistics providers — PostNL for deliveries within the Netherlands, and DPD/DHL for all other destinations — to ensure reliable, timely delivery across the EU.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Netherlands & Belgium: 1–2 business days
  • Germany: 3–4 business days

Please note: Delivery times to the Wadden Islands may vary. Fresh and frozen products are available for delivery within the Netherlands only.

Collection Points

If your order is delivered to a PostNL or DPD/DHL collection point, it will be available for pick-up for seven (7) days. After this period, the package will be automatically returned to our warehouse. Returned packages may incur an administrative fee of €6.95–€14.95, depending on the destination country, and the product value will be credited upon receipt. Please monitor your Track & Trace status accordingly.

Delivery Requirements

To ensure successful delivery, please verify that your shipping address, doorbell name, and contact phone number are accurate at the time of checkout. Delivery may fail if:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address or phone number is provided
  • The delivery address is inaccessible or unsafe for the carrier
  • No secure location is available to leave the package and no recipient is present

Re-delivery charges may apply in the above cases.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped outside the European Union, GlobalFoodHub.com is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

GlobalFoodHub.com takes full responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit. To report a damaged shipment, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery at contact@globalfoodhub.com with your order number and photographs of the damaged items.
